Once two houses, Avenue Road was converted into a three storey 33 bed nursing home 25 years ago. The home sits in the middle of Abergavenny a quiet town also known as the Gateway to Wales and is close to public transport, local shops and conveniences. The smart modern interior, pleasant enclosed garden, and location right next to the to local cricket ground give it an inviting atmosphere.
Most care requirements can be met, whether physical disabilities or sensory impairments, as well as those who simply need more full time support. Our special chefs cook traditional home cooking fresh each day, with a menu updated regularly and special diets or nutritional requirements can be catered for on request. There is good wheelchair access with an in home lift. Visits from a hairdresser, chiropodist, and physiotherapist are also available. Each room has all the modern conveniences including a phone line on request and television point. Our full time activities co-ordinator arranges new sociable and enjoyable pursuits each day.
